Legal challenge filed against Kalonzo’s Azimio rebrand
The case adds fresh uncertainty to the shape of the opposition ahead of 2027.
A legal challenge has been lodged against plans to rebrand the Azimio la Umoja coalition, which Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka took over as party leader earlier this year.
The dispute comes as opposition figures, including Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, build separate political vehicles ahead of the 2027 General Election.
