President William Ruto launched a new slogan for the ruling UDA party and went on the attack against his opponents, mocking the political vehicle of Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna as ‘The Empty Party’.
Sifuna, who leads the Linda Mwananchi movement, has been holding rallies and making appointments as the group seeks to rebrand ahead of the 2027 General Election.
The exchange is the latest sign that both camps have shifted into campaign mode.
